Favorite Book: March 2010
I read a bunch of books in March, but my favorite by far was Sticky Teams by Larry Osborne. I read everything Larry writes and particularly liked "Ten Dumb things Smart Christians believe" and "The Unity Factor", but this was by far my favorite book that he has written. It's a smart, funny and quick read that give you page after page of nuggets and godly wisdom from someone who has been in ministry a long time. In short… I love it! Instead of writing some long review, I thought I'd post reasons I love the iPad: 1. Pages – It mirrors Pages on the Mac very well. Plus, it opens Words files as well. 2. iPhoto – This is a really nice. Database Management
One of the questions I get regularly is, "What management software do you use to manage your database?" Honestly, I'm not really happy with any of them. We've looked at all the big boys and we finally decided on Roll Call which is produced by By the Book. It's a good program and most importantly, it's OSX compatible. Our office is 100% Mac, so that's a big deal for us. Other programs looked good but were way too expensive for what they offered. Others just didn't do the trick for our system.
