Today was completely insane! Honestly, I’m glad it’s over 🙂 Spiritually, our entire staff has been getting attacked over the last 2 weeks. I’ve probably expand on that when I’m not completely wiped out. I obsessed over this Easter message. I find holiday messages the most difficult to teach. Began the Gospel of Mark. I got a call that we made the front page of the Easter Edition of the Miami Herald!!! I just got back from Publix and bought 2 copies of Sunday Early edition and there we were! Totally amazing! Here’s what you have to understand: Miami has 2.5 million people and only about 6% go to church on a given Sunday. The city is spiritual, but not remotely Christian. 4:30AM – I’m wide awake. Mia is sound asleep. But I think it’s Easter that’s got me awake. This is the Superbowl of Sundays! It’s the most important Sunday of the year because it’s the day everyone stops to celebrate the fact that there’s an empty tomb. I believe God wants to rock our community with His message of love.
