– Not much for me this weekend. – I wasn’t in church today. I’m still fighting my bought with Bronchitis. I’m getting better, but I still can’t really talk. – Mark taught today and my sources tell me he did a great job. – He was having issues with his voice after the 3rd service. Doing 3 back-to-back-to-back with very little time in between is a challenge. – But it’s causing me to think about taking care of my voice better and strengthening my vocal chords. – I did watch some TV preachers. Just got back from out of town. I’m still sick and have no voice. Here’s some stuff that I’ll be blogging about over the next few days: 1. I read 3 books over the last few days. 2 amazing. 1 good. Reviews forthcoming… 2. Spent a couple of days at Disney. These people never cease to amaze me. I learned 10 big lessons while I was there. 3. Just finished a run of 18 months of coaching. It has been amazing! I’ll share some big ideas about the process and my personal learnings. It’s great to be home!

– today was tough for me. I was coughing and hacking through all 3 services. – what started out as a sore throat is now in my chest. I’m hating life right now – the services went well. I woke up this morning and couldn’t talk. My throat is killing me! So I went into the office for a couple of hours and then went home. But I’m still attending our staff meeting via ichat. I love technology… and chicken soup!

– Services today went great. – We still felt the effects of Spring Break in our middle service, but the other services felt great. – I’m still getting used to teaching 3 times on Sunday. I was at a steakhouse on Monday night picking up some take out and the guy at the bar asked me, “What’s the difference between Pittsburgh and Char-grilled?” At first I was in a state of shock, thinking, “You work at a steakhouse. – Today was absolutely amazing! – The numbers were just under 1,000! Awesome! – Lots of people said yes to Jesus. Lots of first time guests. – We did 3 services for the 1st time. I loved it. – 3rd service was completely overflowing! – It was also the weirdest day in the history of our church – We lost power at 8:30AM and never got 100% power back. – Why you ask? A squirrel.
