I know I’m really late to the party, but I finally got around to reading Freakonomics by Steven Levitt. All I can say is that it’s a really fun book to read. The chapter titles immediately drew me in (how can you not want to read a chapter called, “Why do drug dealers still live with their mothers?”) The book was a fun look at all the stats that people give and the societal rules they create. Shots Heard Round the World…

Mia got her second round of shots today. I think it hurt me more than it hurt her (I’ve officially become one of those parents). At least it was a tie. We both cried. Mommy cried. We were a mess. It was easier than the 2 months shots (those were brutal). What was great is that the Dr. said Mia looks and acts like a 6 month old! I love being a dad!
