My last week…

Bob FranquizUncategorized

– Things have been pretty quiet on the blog because I’ve been in Mexico with my family.
– It was my first time in Mexico. Must say, I liked it and loved how strong the dollar was there 🙂
– It was great to spend a few days just with my family. We spent most of the time in the pool. My daughter loved the pool! It was a great time.
– Being the capturer of precious moments that I am, I brought the charger but forgot to take the still camera or the video camera. Genius!
– The place we stayed had food included in the price. I made sure they didn’t make any money on me 🙂
– The Mexican government set our flight path through the storm off the Florida coast. It’s like they said, “We got your money, now get the heck out of our country!”
– I did get to see hurricane Ike from the air. We were above the hurricane and saw it out the window of the plane. It was impressive to say the least.
– Read several books while on vacation. Reviews forthcoming.
– Our executive Pastor got married on Saturday (my reason for going to Mexico). It was a great ceremony. Bonus: I wore khaki’s and a white, short sleeved shirt. That’s what I’m talking about. I vote we boycott ties altogether 🙂
– Sunday at church was amazing. Joel brought the house down with his story of where we find our identity. Pastors, the best decision you could make is to have Joel come speak at your church. We rarely have outside guest speakers, but he’s welcome to come back anytime!
– Wednesday I’ll be in Tampa coaching some great Pastors from all over our great nation.
– This Sunday we’re making a huge announcement at Calvary Fellowship! I can’t wait to let the cat out of bag! I’ll post something on Sunday night.
Roaming charges aren’t cheap. Especially when they involved email.
– Lots of excitement building for our Launch Conference in Atlanta on Sept. 30. You can register here if you want to be part of it.
– There are some group rates, but you have to act fast! Email cristina (at) churchleaderinsights.com
– I’ve got a full day ahead of me, so I’m out!
