Los Angeles Day 2

Bob FranquizUncategorized

Sunday was a day of getting acclimated to West coast time and weather (It was overcast and a bit cold). But I don’t remember the last time I wore a sweater in late May. I bought a pair of shoes that I’ve been looking for (For at least 6 months). It was glorious!

I love buying clothes and I’m not ashamed to admit it (OK, maybe a little).

Carey and I went to Mosaic last night. I spent some time talking with Alex McManus who is one of the coolest guys on the planet. You should check out his blog, it’s good.

Here are a couple of thoughts about my experience at Mosaic:

#1 – They’re still portable – They meet in 4 different locations after years of being here. Buying a building doesn’t even seem to be on the radar. This way, they are able to stay in downtown LA.

#2 – Erwin rocks – The guy is just a beast! His message was amazing and the venue (The nightclub they meet in) just complimented their raw style and gives him major street-cred.

#3 – Great media team – You can see this is really where they put their money. They put the announcements at the end of the message (Which we may try) and 3 of the 5 announcements were videos. Really powerful and I still remember each announcement.

I took a few pictures that I’ll post later…

This morning we start the Origins conference. I’m really excited about this…
