I get questions about what I’m reading almost every day, so I thought I’d share what I’ve read over the last month.
(For those who want to know how I read as much as I do, you can read this post here)
So here’s some of the books I’ve read in the last month or so…
Smart Kids, Smart Money by Dave Ramsey & Rachel Cruze – I really enjoyed this book. With 3 young kids at home, this gave me gray ideas to help them win with money. Also, after reading this book I decided to start a wedding fund for my 2 daughters.
The Dude’s Guide to Manhood by Darrin Patrick – While I’ve never met Darrin personally, I respect him a great deal. The highest compliment I can give this book is that I wish I had written it. It’s brilliant. You should read it. Right now.
The Advantage by Patrick Lencioni – I really enjoyed this book, even though most of the ideas are found in other books he has written. If you’ve never read anything Patrick has written, this is the place to start. Great book.
The No B.S. Guide to Brand Building by Direct Response by Dan Kennedy – Dan is a master marketer. This book explains my position on branding. It’s what we teach in our Evangelism Ninja coaching. Really good book.
Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk – I loved Gary’s first book, “Crush It”. So I picked this one up and it didn’t disappoint. It’s about telling your story and how different social media platforms make us tell our story differently. Really helpful.
Brick by Brick by David Robertson – This book is the story of the Lego corporation. It covers their core values and how they will them out. My son was thrilled that I was reading a book about Lego bricks, but was bummed out when it didn’t include any pictures 🙂
Happy reading…
