Well, I got my Kindle from Amazon on Friday evening and I just finished reading my second book on it, so I thought I'd share some preliminary thoughts on it.
#1 – The Kindle is great! I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I love it. It's very easy to read on. I was concerned that my ate of reading would
#2 – Not every book is available for it, which is a little frustrating, but I'm guessing that publishers will get with it with their back catalog as they are with new titles.
#3 – The fact that I can buy a book and have it on my Kindle within a minute is amazing and scary at the same time. Self-control is going to need to play a role in my reading.
#4 – It can hold 1,500 books, so storage shouldn't be a problem for a couple of years.
#5 – I definitely believe this is the way of the future. If you've seen Star Trek: The Next Generation, then you know I'm right 🙂
If you're someone who likes reading and you want to limit the number of books you carry around, then I think you're really going to like the Kindle.
