The #1 Reason Churches Lack Leaders

Bob FranquizLeadership

I’ve worked with thousands of churches over the last 3 years and I’ve noticed a common denominator in churches who lack leaders.

It’s not a desire for leaders.

It’s not a love to see people grow.

It’s not even having someone “assigned” to discipleship or leadership development.

It’s none of these.

The #1 reason churches experience a leadership drought is they haven’t laid out a plan or system that raises up leaders at every level of the church.

Because there is no system in place, leadership development gets put on the back burner.

Here’s what I tell the Pastors I coach: leadership development isn’t difficult to do. The problem is, it’s also not difficult to neglect as well.

Leadership development doesn’t scream for your attention.

At least not today.

In fact,  not developing leaders probably won’t hurt you this week or next week.

But 3-6 months from now, you’ll wish you invested in those in your church that have potential to lead.

Here’s the bottom line: The leaders you invest in today make growth for your church possible tomorrow.

That’s why I’m leading a brand new coaching network called Leadership Ninja.

It’s for leadership who want a proven, reproducible system for training leaders at every level.

It’s for Pastors who want to see leaders, staff, and future Pastors raised up from within.

Leadership Ninja starts next week and I’ve only got a few spots left.
