Here’s a few things I’m thinking about today…

#1 – I’m moving my books to the office. A total mission. I’ve got to clear out a room in the house for our new arrival. Carey says that the baby has no need for commentaries before he or she is two. I reluctantly agreed. You’ve got to instill the reading discipline early.

#2 – I’m TiVoing Que Pasa Usa? and it’s helping Carey learn more Spanish. If you’re not familiar with this show, it’s like the Cuban version of Good Times. If you want to understand the city of Miami, this show is a missiological must.

#3 – Speaking of Cuban stuff – Miami is divided between thinking that Fidel Castro is really dead or just undergoing surgery as reported.

#4 – With a summer of lame movies, I’m hoping Talledega Nights is going to take things up a notch.

#5 – It’s hot! Miami is so hot right now, I can’t even stand it. I just look outside and I start to sweat. It’s in the mid-90’s, but the humidity is making things ridiculous.

#6 – For those who can’t enough of lists, the new top 100 fastest growing churches in America in out. It’s cool to see a lot of new names in the mix.
