Erwin McManus never disappoints when there’s a book with his name on it and Soul Cravings is no exception! This book is absolutely phenomenal. I don’t know what it is about Erwin’s writings that just connect with me. I always have this sad feeling when I finish one of Erwin’s books – I can never read it again for the first time.

It’s the same feeling I get when I see an amazing movie like Crash, The Usual Suspects, The Matrix, or Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. You’ll never have the feeling of experiencing it and not know what’s coming next. I think that might be the highest compliment you can give a book. That and wishing you had wrote it. It’s like hearing a song like Beautiful Day by U2, Lose Yourself by Eminem, Every Breath You Take by The Police or Dream On by Aerosmith; you wish the song had come out of your soul because it connects with you so much it feels as though the song started there in the first place.

I bought a 2nd copy of the book before I was done reading it because I knew this was a book I had to get into the hands of others.
