Last week I finished reading John Ortberg’s new book, “God is closer than you think.” I’m going to give this book 2 major thumbs up! There are times I’ve read a book at the right time and it totally blesses me. Well, this is one of those times. I spent a couple of months in a dry season and this book totally got me juiced up again. The word pictures John paints using famous the masterpiece “The Creation of Adam” and then the funny drawings of Waldo in the “Where’s Waldo?” books have given me a new perspective on how God wants us to draw close to Him. Even when it isn’t as easy to find Him, He is using that to lead us closer to His heart. I recommend you buy this book and enjoy its’ message…
