Sunday Night Thoughts…

Bob FranquizChurch

– Today was Carey’s birthday. She’s the most amazing woman in the world. I married up 🙂
– Today was amazing! If I could give everyone an extra hour of sleep every Sunday I would. People were rowdy today!
– I didn’t bring the goods in the first service. Second time was a charm 🙂
– Our follow-up systems are really kicking in. We’re seeing lots of guests coming back.
– I installed Leopard onto my Mac yesterday. This thing is a beast!
– Every week I can’t get over the band we have. These guys are awesome!
– Really looking forward to reading Moneyball this week. I’ve been wanting to read this book for a couple of years now.
My fantasy football team is kicking major butt!!! I laid the smack down this week again!
– It hit me today that there’s no baseball for 6 months. Carey is happy 🙂
– Lots of people congratulated me today on the Red Sox winning the World Series (thanks, by the way)
– It’s a great time to be a fan of Boston teams – Red Sox/ Patriots/ Celtics/ Boston College (even though that Florida State loss was tough – 3 INT’s, come on!) For the record, I’ve been a fan of these teams since childhood. In fact, one of my goals was to go to Boston College High School and then B.C., but we moved to Florida before I started 9th grade.
– Can Heroes get any better? This show is insane!
– The new IKEA store in Sunrise is rockin’ my world. How can they sell all that stuff for so cheap?
– I’m really excited about our Missions Concert on November 16th. I’m looking forward to raising a bunch of money for missions.
– We have a new series starting on November 18th called, “Loaded Questions”. We’re going to look at the 4 questions posed to Jesus in Mark 12. Can’t wait!
– Saw a bunch of people telling their stories into the camera after the 2nd service for our December 6th baptism. It’s amazing to hear how God gets a hold of someone’s life. That never gets old!
