Revenge of Adulthood

Well, I saw it… And it was amazing!!! It was everything I could have hoped for and more. A totally amazing finale to what has been more than a series of movies. It has been the backdrop to most of my life. What’s funny is, I can’t remember life without Star Wars. I was born in 1973, so by the time I started understanding my surroundings at age 4, Star Wars was already changing popular culture. In fact, when I was in pre-school and was just learning how to speak English (Because my parents only spoke Spanish in the house), the first memory I have in English is about Star Wars. I was playing with one of the kids in class and he said, “Let’s play Star Wars! I’ll be Darth Vader and you can be a Stormtrooper!” I didn’t who Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper was, so I said OK. But that’s all over. My childhood has officially ended. But it ended with a bang!!! So now that I’m an adult, I’m going to now find out what my interest rate is on my house and then learn what an IRA is and what a 401 (k) is supposed to do…
