We had Good Friday service tonight and all I can say is that it was unbelievable. We weren’t able to do one last year for a number of reasons, but this year we were back and it was great.

Our band was amazing! The set-up crew did a great job in a short amount of time making the place feel inviting. We did the service at an Episcopal Church that we rent for Youth and special events.

I felt good about the message. Since we started our church (With the exception of one year), I have taught on one of Jesus’ 7 statements from the cross. It’s a decision I made 5 years ago and have pretty much stuck to.

This year I taught on “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?” That phrase has been working me all week. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head.

But what a night! We had communion, which was amazing! My wife Carey (Who does our video production by the way) put together an amazing video based on Psalm 22 that rocked worlds! A great group of people came out for the service. In my opinion, this was our best service of the year! God showed up in a huge way!
