Yesterday was amazing! We did Mia’s dedication at our 2nd service and it was very special. Needles to say, I cried. I put together a video based on stuff that I shot on the day she was born that turned out really good. I needed Carey’s help in cutting it down because the video was initially 30 minutes long. I am more excited about this Sunday than any other Sunday in our history. Why? Because this Sunday is my daughter’s baby dedication. I’ve been doing baby dedications for a long time and every time I did one I thought about the day that it would be my baby I was praying for. Well, this Sunday is the day. I’m amazed at how my little girl is growing up so fast. She’s holding her head up, laughing all the time, and sleeping 10-11 hours a night (Hallelujah!!!). Being a dad is the best thing in the world!

February 14th came and went and I forgot to post a picture of my valentine…

On this day in 1997, I said my vows before God and man to the greatest woman on earth. Next to following Jesus, marrying Carey is the best decision I have ever made. (How I talked her into it, I still haven’t figured out) Carey and I both come from divorced families, so the fact that we have not only survived marriage but love each other deeply is a testament to God’s grace. It has been the 10 best years of my life. I’m looking forward to the next 10!
