I just finished “Velvet Elvis” by Rob Bell. I really enjoyed the book. If you like Rob, you will like the book. There were statements he made that I found a bit disturbing, but I don’t think Rob would want it any other way. There are some great insights in this book (his whole deal linking Mary thinking Jesus was the gardener and the garden of Eden is amazing). Great research for the book. I think this is the first time I’ve ever thoroughly read the bibliography. It gave me some great potential book buys. So pick it up. It’s a good read and I think you’ll enjoy it.
