After placing my most recent amazon.com order today, I started thinking back to the glory days. The days when I had a free trial of amazon prime, the amazing program that gives you free 2-day shipping and $3.99 overnight delivery. But it’s $79 a year and I’m just too cheap to pay that, so when the trial ran out, so did my fun.

But here’s what I’m thinking: Amazon Prime should be available for free to all great Amazon.com customers. If you spend a certain amount per year on stuff, you should be rewarded by being given entrance into this hallowed group simply for the sheer volume of books, music, or whatever else you’ve bought from them. Can someone get Jeff Bezos on phone and let him know this?
