So now that I’ve allowed the full saga of Star Wars to stew in my mind, here are some of the thoughts I have come up with:

#1 – Anakin is the chosen one because he is the one who restores balance to the force. Some have said Luke was the chosen one, i disagree. Because it is Anakin who eventually kills the emperor. (If you haven’t seen “Return of the Jedi”…sorry. Wait, I take that sorry back. When a movie has been out for 22 years, I think there’s a reasonable expectation that you can talk about a movie of this magnitude and people should have seen it. Thank you)

#2 – I believe “Return of the Jedi” is speaking of Anakin, not Luke. Yeah, that’s right I said it! If it was about Luke, it would be called, “Introduction of the Jedi” since Luke was not a Jedi in the empire Strikes Back. to quote Darth Vader, “The Force is strong with you young Skywalker, but you’re not a Jedi yet.” The Jedi that returns to restore balance is Anakin. Case closed!

#3 – My friends and I used to debate whether stormtroopers were droids or people. I always said they were people and “Revenge of the Sith” confirmed my suspicions. I’d love to brag about it to them, but they’re all at a Star Trek convention this weekend.

#4 – Episode 3 was so amazing it made me forget that one of the main characters in The Phantom Menace was “Jar Jar Binks.”

#5 – I do find it odd that since Obi-Wan knew C-3PO and R2-D2 in episodes 1-3, that he did not recognize them in episode 4. This will require further study and contemplation.
