3 Important Facts about People who Attend Christmas Services

Bob FranquizGeneral

Hey Pastor,

Churches who are serious about outreach see huge crowds at Christmas.

But while we focus on strategies for getting crowds in the doors (which I’m all for), there’s another element that I want to focus on.

I want to talk about what’s happening internally to those who will attend your services this Christmas.

There are 3 things happening in them when they sit in your seats…

#1 – They Know They Need God in Their Lives – Long before you give your invitation sharing about people’s need for God, He has already been at work in people’s lives.

Our goal is to simply cooperate with what God is already doing and highlight that need for God though our worship, teaching and creative elements.

#2 – They Want to Experience God – People don’t want a hollow religious experience. They want to feel God at work in their lives. The entire reason they came to church was to connect with God in some way.

Our job is simply to facilitate people encountering God through each element of our services.

#3 – They Have No Idea How to Draw Close to God – Leadership is the purest sense is leading people to Jesus.

Our highest goal is to help another person connect with the God who created them, loves them, and desires to be in relationship with them.

I’m leading an online training where I’m outlining 5 Simple Strategies to Explode your Church this Christmas.

This 45-minute training will give you plenty of ideas and a game plan for reaching lots of people this Christmas!
